proubly going to get a pike now and was woundering about these pikes

xingu
strigata
vittata
how aggressive are they and how big do they get

thanks

we'll i think i'm going to get a xingu but are there other common pikes that are color full

johanna are fairly common and can have good color, cobras are readily available online and females can be quite red as adults, jeff rapps has marmoratta right now they are pricey but it doesnt get alot better than a marm. just depends whether or

don't marmoratas get really big to big for say a 180 gallon?

marms would do great in a 180. they are very comparable in size to xiingu or strigata. just not price lol.

Marms are comparable in length (around 16" in good conditions) to X1's, but they are more robust and thicker. X1's tend to be a more slender pike with a pointier nose. They will definitely do great in a 180. You could house even a larger pair of Cinctas in there easily.
