Trimacs, without a doubt, have been the most owner responsive fish Ive ever had. Also, Ive never had one that was skittish or fled from the front of the tank for any reason. Its almost like you cant scare them. They end up being a single wet pet though, so if any kind of community is what you are hoping for, I dont think it will work, or at least hasnt for me once they got past about 8 inches.
Midas or Labiatus are a close 2nd for me.
Oscars are cool and are very responsive but are prone to HITH and youre wanting to get away from having to worry about medical issues.
For the most part, Festae and Argentea are hiders (& skittish) and not anywhere near the owner responsiveness that Trimacs, Midas, Red Devils or Oscars are, in my experience.
