Hi what's a good, cheap filter that is easy to clean? My standards are low, it can be loud, as long as its not louder than gunpowder igniting I'm fine. My Rena xp3 finally bit the dust yesterday...

I will probably buy used BTW...

Canister is my only option.
Tank is a 100g.

I just picked up a used Magnum 350 for $30. Seems pretty nice so far.

Odyssea CFS700 (but it will need some modifications)

Whats your stock like? I feel like if its a 100g and its not overstocked an FX5 would be a bit much, but then again more is better. I ran a fluval 405 and a sump on my 100g so I advocate overfiltering anyhow...as though there really was such a thing as overfiltering...

You could get an FX5, an FX5 or an FX5. Either way you'll be good. ;)

I run 2 Fluval Fx5s on my 120g and I like it.

i like my marineland c-360's very quite..

Aquaclear 110 all the way. Great, dependable, wont leak all over your floor, a quarter the price of an fx5, oh and did I mention dependable. I have one running for over 10 years now with original parts. A friend of mine has one I sood him that is now almost 15 years old. They never die and work great.
