well yes they are more friendly compaired to "real gars" but they can be territorial i have heard and wiil eat smaller fish like any fish!
but yes i have seen them with angels and discus!

I know what you should get an Fresh Water Barracuda there awsome fish would'nt do any wrong for ya but there sorta agressive on killed 2 of my fish and ripped out a BlueJack's eye.It's all good though but a Cichild or Oscar would'nt hurt either but go for an albino Oscar not a tiger Oscar and make sure there babys when you get them if you do. You could maby get an
Arowana instead there pretty cool and amaze friends but you gotta have tight lids on your tank and don't let them be around smaller fish other than that there good/
 
i sorta wanted to try something new and different...i've kept too many cichlids and kept 3 species of aros (converted them to pellets and flakes). now i wanna try something different like datnoids or bichirs...but nothing to crazy violent. i still dont know what to get.....
 
Well then get a Goby or Bichir its your choice man or you could get a WolfFish those are freakin cool

That would look awsome but don't get your leafs from petsmart they say there African Leaf Fish when there actually leopard bush fish
