Need a new heater for my new cichlid tank

Just got the dimensions of the tank and its slightly bigger than i thought.

This is what im buying...

66"x24"x25" works out about 160g/600L (weird dimensions huh )

Comes with a Ehiem professional 2028 etc

So i'm best off grabbing 2 300 watt heaters then.

I may try mixing my Flowerhorns in this tank with a Jag and a Texas with a seperator on standby.

Deffo my last tank now tho

hey mate im in england too, i live in liverpool.
ive got like the exact same sixe tank but min is 5ft long, 3ft tall and 2ft wide.
just go to ur local aquarium/fish shop and ask them fr the biggest heater they have.
this will cost ye about £15. that what i have got and it deffo does the trick.
ive had mine just over a year now and it ok(touch wood like)
im goint to get my backup on today just in case haha.
but that will do.

I'll have to agree 2 of the 300 watt fluval heater should be sufficient ... check out the "E" series those are their digital ones in the protective casing. they also flash red when the water temp is 2 degrees above and flash blue when they are 2 degrees below your set temp and when they are in range they stay a solid green. The best heaters ive yet to use. i have upgraded all mytanks to these awesome heaters !
