What size tank? Jager are Alright heaters for me so far. I have 4 3 seem to have moisture in them from day one. One I originally ordered was broken emailed eheim and they said did you move the dials right? I explained everything ajd tried everything and not no more communication from them. So customer service so far is worthless and they just dropped me. At least the place I ordered it from was nice and let me send it back and got me a new one. I am still a little worries about the little moisture I see in my heaters. I am going to be off for the next couple days and plan to do a post on the info I have gotten so far. Dr Foster Smith has then for a good sale. And they do heat well so I figured 22.99 I would give them a try and see what happens.

:iagree: also a bit of moisture inside my Jagers, they work fine though. I have aqueon pro heaters running on my 150 and they also do a good job.

I do have 2 aqueon pro heaters life time warranty and I really really like them. If they made a 300 Watt or larger I would buy those always for my 600 gallon. Just don't want 8 250 Watt heaters. Green light says I'm alive and still work red light says I'm heating and alive. Constantly able to make sure it is working because of two lights. I have one 250 on a 55 @and another 250watt on a 120 gallon setup. Both are excellent and would recommended one or two any and everyday.

Another vote for Aqueon Pro's, pick them up on Amazon, very affordable.

since the whole marineland fiasco i swapped most my heaters out for aqueons and thus far have been happy with them.

can you have to much wattage? i have a 55g and plan on upgrading sometime so im going to try to get the one with the most wattage if i can.
