Need a panaque that my WIFE will approve of! :(

I like blues, they just don't get very big...


EDIT: I keep confusing blue panaque with blue-eyed panaque. Yes, I could afford a blue panaque.


I've never seen any panaque for less than 30 bucks, unless I'm just having brain farts here. Maybe 25 bucks once upon a time, a few years ago.

Why is it that you only want a panaque? Theres so many other plecos that im sure your wife would like. Are you putting the pleco with agressive fish? If not try a longfin bristlenose. My gf loved those. Or what about a large l240 galaxy? Another beautiful fish.

I was wondering about that myself and its interesting that his wife dislikes the striped look of the royals.Mine does not like any catfish with long whiskers but fortunately she doesn't pay too much attention to my tanks lol!

OP is looking into panaque because he's convinced from online sources that they only need wood to survive, and that it actually harms the fish to feed it something else. He intends to just pop in driftwood, add water, add filteration, and heat the room. Does not want to spend money on fish food. It's on in the first 1~3 posts.
