Need a Pike ID!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hmmmm that red tail is kinda throwing me off a little. almost looks venezuala, but i really don't think it is......hmm i'm not the best with this, MTN, pp, ridah or somebody will probably be able to ID this

It's not sp. "Venezuela". It's not even a Lugubris group pike. It is definitely a Saxatiline but exactly which I'm not sure. I'd also say that it's a male.

i was WAY off. the black spot made me think sax. species, but it really didn't look like any of them i had ever seen.....and most of them had a little bit of spangling.

how big is it? Maybe a lucius? It kind of looks like mine but mine is only 3-4". If yours is an adult, maybe it could be but other than that no idea. It is pretty though.

I'd try to get another pic with the flash on. But it is a sax group pike though.

I dont know, what about the Lacustris sub-group, just saying because of the slope of the head and mouth shape.

Does have a lot of Sax traits though, but I don't know about Lucius

I changed my mind - it looks like a multispinosa
