Need advice for Fresh water Stingray

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the advice... I read their diet in the wild is mostly snails...worm like meals. I have wondered if a lack of variety would cause some problems down the road?

once the ray is established you dont need any salt
unless there is a health problem.... IMO its those rocks... get those things out of there there is no where for her to move, rays like wide open places so they can burry themselves, have you added any other fish to the tank laitly?

More than 50% of the tank is a clear sand base. The rocks are basically for the Dragon fish that hides there durning the day. The picture is only showing the back part of the tank. Thanks though I will consider moving some of them out. The dragon fish has been really good, I believe for the tank, eats the poop and keeps the sand moving around so bad stuff doesn't build up under the sand.

how big is the tank and is the dragon fish the only tank mate? post a whole tank shot
and also the front is not where you need to be looking for death curl, the death curl happens in the back part of the fins

it is only 55 gallon. I have trying to go bigger. There is a sand area to the right of the rocks as well. I made the picture large so you can see the dragon fish pocking his head out of the left side of the rocks.

way way way to small of a tank for them. but take the rocks out-slowly a few here and there- and also put in a tank divider. you can make one really easy.
