definitely im gonna get a bigger tank...maybe after 6mnth lookd upon my baby growth :D perharps im gonna get atleast a 5ft tank...maybe bigger!! i would like 2 raise frm small nw...juz worried it will be harm!
btw....'aro-discus' the spoon shark that ive tried definitely wouldnt fit my baby's mouth bt this aro bite the spoon shark fins....luckily i managed 2 save him

Whats a spoon shark? couple of nipped fins are not so bad since fins grow back easy.

I've tried to add a fei feng that almost got blasted by my aro. good thing I saved him. I guess it depends on the the individual fishes temperament whether or not they will tolerate tankmates.

the specific name for the shark i wouldnt noe :p bt dats wht ive being told the name is SPOON SHARK! will post it later.....

here's what that they called SPOON SHARK!!

that's an american paddlefish. cold water fish. not a good mix. If you get a big enough tank, a aro/ray combo looks magnificent. dats as well

From what I have read, mixing aros is usually not a good idea because of aggression. Aro community tanks seem to have many aros in a crowded space to spread out the aggression but I still see some torn fins. I am not planning on mixing any aros with mine. It's tankmates are tinfoil barb, silver dollars, rays, tiger dat.

hahaha...many thanx Onion01, nw i noe the real name!!! aiya...even the fish shop owner couldnt tell the real name!! he said the name is spoon shark...no wonder i cant google th fish...RAY eh? so many ppl here recomend the RAY!! hahaa....shud consider then :D ay other good suggestion?

Flag tails.. bichirs..SD's... pl*cos.. Dats.. Its all up to you.

many2 thnx guyzfor the tips n advice :D i tink i fall in love wif rays.... :D

its best to mix aros with other fish from a very young age

if you let the aro grow to say 12inch without tank mates chances are he will reject any other fish you try to keep with him

owh really?? must find a tankmate soon if u said so...btw its pity to look the fish alone in the 3ft tank :D
