If u wan helpful advise then it's better to share wif us wat does ur 'new environment' consist of?

Or read thru the Beginners Tips tat's stickied in this forum, I'm sure u 'll learn more & quicker than waiting for response ya.

Depending on the Ray this tank might be big enough for a while but is likely to need bigger.

The Ray is likely to need some form of parasite treatment and very good water quality. Keep testing ammonia, nitrite and nitrate along with ph for some time as they produce a lot of waste..

Keep the lights off for a week or so and try to get it feeding, I expect it will need worms and shrimp live along with live blood worm until it will swap to normal food.

Try to get
Up some pictures as this will help.

You may need some salt if there is a wound from the fishing hook.

You need to read as many of the threads on here as possible and then ask a lot of questions.
