you got any pictures of the fish in question? I take it was probably an unwanted pet released if it is a motoro in a resevoir..... is the hook removed? or did you cut the line?

That's interesting - what kinds of rays are in the reservoir? I guess the conditions are similar to those in the amazon if that is working well...

Pics would help a lot but just get rid of the parasites and feed it live food like small goldfish, blackworms, bloodworms, maybe some shrimp to start out with but later when it settles you could try fish food like the frozen food but start off live. Most freshwater stingrays in the stores are wild caught anyway so just get rid of the parasites allow it to settle then done.

a wild caught motoro in singapore? is this a breeding reservoir owned by someone that you caught it out of, cuz that motoro is a long way from home.
