NEED ADVICE FROM THE PROS FOR FEEDING AN AROWANA

Whoaaa, a super-red as a first fish - i salute your courage and/or your wallet ^^

I advise prawns (no head no shell, leave the tail but remove the spike)and crikets and frogs (farm raised) ... fish (if you trust the source and if you are sure about their cleaniliness). Seeing that you in Malasia and all that then you can add an occasional gecko lizard hehehe

It is useful to train your fish to eat pellets, but if you have a ready access to the above, it is not a must.

PS: i train my aro to eat pellets (go hikari carnivore) as an emergency food in case there is nothing else

so..should feed my arowana by pellets then feed with others??? bt i did tried 2 feed the fish with pallets but it wont eat...any advice on hw 2 train the fish 2 eats pallets...anyone?

I just stuff hikari food sticks in my market shrimp.....it seem to work fine!

hmm..juz gone crazy bro!! nothing 2 salute...went thru some magizne+readings! suddenly fall in love wif dis red arowana's!!
just wish this fish were cheaper ;p

fish fillets if theres available. But normally, feeders stuffed with pellets, and crickets as treats on weekends....
