Need advice on a major decision

If it is true that your parents will not let you rehome it, perhaps you should show them this thread.

In the future, try not to tackle something like this that you cant handle. You said you rescued it, but ended up just keeping him in poor conditions under your own hands.

The 185 will be a temporary home as well for it honestly even my 200 gallon is small for one that's why I don't have an arowana in there. I really want one but still.

Steven your best bet is to get a 240+ for long term but for now from your other video seems sick since its breathing unusual.

Your parents said no to a pond but Ditch the 60 gallon and get a bigger tank or sell the fish.

The arowana will have issues spine issues to all sorts of issues in a small tank.

There is all sorts of nope in this thread.. Unfortunately rehoming is the only decent option. The 60 is way too small for the aro now, and its not large enough for enough of the problem cichilids. The 125 is already cramped and a decent size aro will outgrow in a few months time.
Ya that's the issue but after a huge argument today I've tilted it back in my favor so i may get a 250 for it and the Angels is that big enough?

They won't let you rehome it? I would lie and give the fish away or euthanize it. It's irresponsible to keep a pet you can't care for, why would they have aversions to giving it a proper home?
if I knew that I wouldn't be in this current problem

No, a 250 is not enough.

A 250 is a much better solution but a 300 is considered a minimum starting point for silver aros.
I think depends on demensions needs to be long and wide rather than tall since top dwellers. I had two in my 500 gallon and they looked huge in that tabk

Lets be honest, neither is going to happen. His parents wont let him get rid of the fish because they "spent so much money on caring for it" and he thinks they are going to buy him a 240g? Come on.

Im not sure if he is trolling at this point.

Ok then I guess
