Need advice on dithers

I keep half of the fish you listed (Sal and Tex) in my big tank with both Buenos Aires tetra and Denison barbs and I think either at an appropriate size would do fine. (Denison's in a 4+ foot tank)

As stated before SD's are awesome but I think they may be a little crowded.

I know there probably a hundred other options that may be more fitting. I'm just stating what has worked / is working for me now.

A group of tiger barbs can be cool as well but I'd keep an eye on them; even in a large group they do tend to nip.

I think I will try some barbs in with the CAs and some fast tetras in with the SAs. I will just have to keep a close eye on barbs, though I've used rosy barbs before with calmer SAs and they worked out fine, so I might try them again.

I've used mollies and Mayan sword tails only to see them get butchered.

I will avoid livebearers. My fear would be exactly what you're talking about. Too slow and/or small with live birth fry everywhere = I'm gonna have a bad time. LOL
