Need advice on filters...

Just bought an fx5 not to long ago. I wouldn't mind buying an ehiem either. I must say my xp4 is the SHIZ. It works perfect and super silent. The thing broke and i called rena and they replaced for free. Nothing better than a filter doing what its suppose to do and having good customer service. I hope ehiem and fx5 do the same.


Someone who stands behind a product is always number 1 in my book.

So far that has been my experience with rena.


save money though and get the xp3.... they are almost the same as the xp4
 
Awesome, thanks for the info guys. My friend's been going on about how awesome rena is too, so I think that's what I will go for.

Now all I need to set this tank up is my stand, still waiting on the boyfriend to build me one :irked:
 
FX5 is overkill for that tank but if you have the money go for it... it is a great filter...wouldn't buy any other fluval though....had rena and they are great. If you don't want to spend as much money do the Rena xp4....your water will be crystal clear with either of the two filter...good luck
