Need Advice on my Future DIY Wet/Dry

K well i didnt read this hole thread but i did read the part "use djlancers design" which i thought was pretty sweeet!! lol..

Just a idea for you to keep in mind for my outlet from the overflow into the sump I am now using a filter media bag and i stuff the crap out of it with polyfiber and wrap it around the end for a prefilter and it works amazing, i found using all those sponges in the baffles n crap useless. I change it whenever it gets real brown/or once a week and the stuff is so cheap but works great.

Also id just go with one 1.25" pvc overflow to save the hassle of having 2. And if you ever have a problem with it failing just let me know and ill replace anything thats damaged, under certain circumstances* which ill send a PM explaining the details, no just kidding, lol.

Heres a pic of a more recent wet/dry i made. I put the drip plate where the lid(top) would sit to get the most space for my bio media. As you can see the 1" lip to hold the water in

i finally constructed the overflow and did almost half the work for wet/dry. I stuck with 1.25" pvc pipes. That's 910gph which should be sufficient for my 100 gallon tank. Now the question is:

Which pump should I get for this set-up? I have a 5' head height.

I have a Rio 26HF which I use for water changes. Honestly, I would rather not use it for the wet/dry because it a bit loud in my opinion.
