Need advice on new tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
OK. Yeah I've got a couble in the garage. Never thought about using for that, but it makes sense.
Thanks

I have used CLR...spray it on and the stuff just melts away...Rinse it well...I always use it to clean cover glass and to de-scale equipment...Rinse well...
Since nobody else has suggested it...I hope I'm not doing something wrong?

You can use CLR on glass tanks. Just make sure you're working away from other tanks and in a well ventilated area. Don't touch the tank's plastic frame with CLR. I wouldn't recommend using CLR if the tank is heavily scratched since CLR may cause additional etching within the scratches. Remember to wear a good pair of rubber gloves when handling this (and any) corrosive liquid.
