Need advice on tank price??

really depends on what you wanta pay for it and which way you think about it. The tank its self is worth around 2 grand new with shipping costed in Plus that looks like a cherry stand to me. which cost a grand probaully with canopy. Nice huge sump protein skimmer. bulk heads all plumbed. i would pay three for it if i had the money
 
I've seen the 250 version set-up... It is a very nice system.. The 300 brand new from the LFS here costs around 6k when all is said and done around here. The starfire is nice.. but it's only the front panel that is.. and as already stated.. imo it's not much of a difference. If I could find the 300 used around here 2k would imo be worth it. But large used tanks over 150 gal are pretty rare around here.
 
well I made him an offer today, we will see if he takes it or wants more.. After looking at the site DMD sent, I think that a used one should be no more than 1700.00
there is no telling how long the stuff has been set up running before they took it down to sale. So the pumps in the sump may last awhile longer, or they may go out the day after I get it. who knows... I made the offer today, and have some room to grow in price.. but I think now 1700 is the ending point for me..
