After a year, I think its time to forget about it and keep whatever he gave you and sell the truck.

A year is just far too long to expect someone to come back like that.

Did the man leave any contact imfornation? If so i would contact him and tell him he as 3 day to pick up the truck or he will be charged $xx amount a day storage fees (an address would be good, because then you would have it in writing). If you haven't tried to contact him till now about it, i would at least give him a chance to get it.

If he didn't leave any contact info and you still have the title, sounds to me like you still own a truck.
