judge the size of your tanks. most likely the best bet would be to buy some plastic drop sheets that painters use to cover things they dont want paint staining. you can use masking tape and tape off the tanks just like you would if you were covering things to paint. this will definitely keep dust and such out but keep an eye on tank temps as this will trap heat as well

i know i have the best ideas for ever thing.

use saran wrap. i used it to cover up my toilets too because it smell bad as no one ever flushes the toilet. works wonders.
