need advice

Im 14 and am saving money to buy a bigger tank. I only have 100 dollars so far but I was wondering wich would be a better deal:

A 120g dimensions 48x24x25tall for 364 or

A 150g dimensions 60x24x25tall for 638

I know the 150 would be better in the long run, but the 120 is not much smaller and half the price. my curent stock is 2 tiger oscars, clown knife, common pleco, and angelfish.

also, i will not be buying any time soon, but my dad will be building the stand out of steel and i was also wondering if it would be ok to put my guitar amp under it? IDK if the vibrations or noise would screw anything up.

the 150 is going to be better for you but in the long run your going to need bigger than that because of your clown knive fish and pleco are going to get very big like 3 foot and longer depending on how long they live but in honesty keep saving your money and invest in a 300 if you really like big fish.Don't put the amp under the tank not a good thing might break the glass or crack it leading to a bust .

I would keep saving for a tank around 300g but the 150 is the biggest i can fit anywhere

i think i will just save for the 120g because ot is a way better deal and in the long run if they need more space im willing to get rid of my oscars, but i still need advice about the guitar amp.

Just being electric, i wouldnt put it anywhere near it, and if you rock it like i would have when i was 14, the fish are probably going to want to commit suicide. I wouldnt put it there, but it is your decision.

Never put anything under an aquarium that you wouldn't want to get wet

Like I said before not a good Ideal to site a guitar amp anywhere near your tank it could lead to your tank busting and that would be a lot of money down the drain

to be honest i never thought about the electricity or the tank busting but you do make a good point. ill try to find another place to put the amp, but I have a really small room so thatll be kinda hard.

save your money. Check out your local craigslist and browse the classified adds here. You can find a good deal for sure. You just have to be patient and be persistant. I found a 180g tank with filters, heaters and lids for $200 on here.
