Hi.. i have tank 6ftX2ftX2.5ft. Weekly water change cycle.

I have 3 marble motoro sting rays, & 2 19 + inch albino clarias catfish.

" can i put 2 sting rays more???"

I second that no.

For some context, I look at my 400 gallon with 3 adult rays and I quite often feel really bad for how little room they have. Females get massive my friend. I wish I could give them a tank 3 times the size, that would truly do them a bit more justice.

12"? A knew someone that had a female that was freaken huge. He had her in a 1000 gallon swimming pool.

Sorry.. But @ LFS. He has same species sting ray for more than 8 year (as per i have seen that fish) and it is only 11-12 inch in dia.

I am posting image plz tell me species, bcz i might be miss guiding you.

This is internet taken image.. but it look like nearly same. 3-800x450.jpg .

In answer to your question, no. You are already way overstocked as you are.

That pic is a motoro AFAIK, but they reach 2.5' in diameter. If it is only 12" after 8 years, it must be stunted by being in a tank too small for it. Even the smallest stingray, the teacup stingray, reaches 18".

As motoros get 2.5' wide, I would not keep them in anything narrower than a 3' wide tank (preferably 4'), and preferably 8' long. Best is a large pond for stingrays. Not only will they really love the extra space, they are one of few fish that look better from the top than from the side in an aquarium.

A species is constantly evolving and changing to it's environment. If they are restricted to a 6'x2'x2' the offspring will stay smaller than the parent and try to evolve to their surroundings. An example where this is seen is in Bd's. When they were first introduced to the hobby it wasn't uncommon to see large females around the 25" mark, today most females only get 18" and I believe that aquaman45 aquaman45 has a mature 12" female. If you look back on his threads you notice that his marble breeders get smaller each thread.

As far as the Motoros get 2.5' that's not completely accurate for captive bred specimens. My male is 10" and fully rolled.
