Need Advice!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for three all the advice. I really think it had something to do with the platys. I thought they were fine since I've had them for so long. Thanks everyone!

Davidiator Davidiator I lost my elephant nose

Man that sucks, sorry for your loss,
I would say this do NOT buy anymore fish until the aquarium is fine again and no fish die for at least a month... check water parameters every 2 days and do water change every 2 days (1 day check parameters other day do water change)

The rest of my fish look fine. I've read that the elephant nose are very sensitive. I did a little over 50% change and vacuumed the rocks very good. My poor baby whale is back in hiding without his friend.

You say you've had the platy's a long time, how long?
Platy's maximum life span is only 3 years, if they were already adult size when you bought them, they may have aged out.
