Need some advice on my aquarium due to the water levels dropping/evaporating. I want some advice on what to use on my rimless tank. A was going to use rimless aquarium clips an a piece of clear perspex or glass hopefully that will help the water level in the tank dropping. Any other ideas please ???71JKCtK-PGL._SY355_.jpg IMG_20181216_205213_652.jpg

A sheet of plexiglass cut to fit would work also.

You could also use twin wall poly carbonate (greenhouse panel) as it's easy to cut and won't warp. A hole in the top would make it easy to feed the fish and remove it for cleaning.

The problem with glass on your tank would be the 'feet' on your light fixture unless they are removable. You would also need to have the glass 'nipped' on the corners for cords and/or air line to pass through and give you somewhere to grip it to remove the glass if you used only one piece of glass.

A was gonna leave a 1 cm gap or 5mm all around the edge so wouldn't have to take the feet of the light

And i dont think the polycarbonate looks easy on the eye looks rough. Would it help the water level from dropping tho with any lid

I just found some glass runners online. So need to decide what to us the clips or the runners with piece of glass, plexiglass or clear perspex all the same think glass would be the best tho. Get it cut to size am hopefully will stop the evap of the water an cause levels to drop.

Well I usually use the corrugated clear greenhouse roof sheets cut to fit. The cleanest look is going to be cut glass though with your clips imo. Just put the clips on the sides

Cutting glass that size is super easy with a glass cutter just emory cloth the edges.
