Need Advise!!! Is this too good to be true?

I answered an at for these teecup yorkies. they are about 5 pounds as adults and 1-2 pounds as pups. They're smaller than chihuahuas.

i did a little research and they are about $1200 up to well over $2000.

this guy wants to ship them to me from south africa for $600 for 2 and that's shipping included. he stated in as email that he can over night them.

is that possible to overnight from south africa to U.S.??? And is this deal too good to be true?

what can i do to see if this guy is legit or not? supposedly he's a pastor and the weather is too harsh on the dogs and he doesn't have time for them anymore because he's too busy with his ministry.

I'd watch with dealing with anyone from Africa even "South Africa". They would be on a plane of course. They can't go like UPS/Fedex so hope he didn't tell you that. Also from having a dog shipped before usually the breeder/seller has to purchase a crate for shipping which they charge extra for. Shipping itself in the U.S. for a larger puppy is like $300.00. Even though they're small from africa the fee for shipping would have to be a ton. Not only that S.A. is civilized enough he should be able to find a home locally I would think.

My mom actually bought a "teacup yorkie" locally for $1000.00, actually might have been a little less. Her's is female and I believe fully grown and only 3lbs I think.

IMO I'd keep searching locally. I call bogus on it.

that deal is good, but not awesome....it all depends on what you want to do with the yorki. Breedind them are always good, only thing is that people now a days look for pure breds, if they come with papers, then it'll be awesome knowing that it's a pure bred. and it's hard to join a club and get cert's,(AKC) with out papers. but if you like them get one or two.

It would need all that just to fly anyways. Rules for getting live animals in country's are strict.
