Reason five million and twelve why if you buy a purebreed pup find a reputable breeder that will let you see the pups, at least one parent and were they live. most good breeders will do so and ask you questions .
this helps you to avoid scams like this one and it is a scam and puppy mill dogs that are always sick, neurotic and poorly bred . (think breeding Oscars in a 20). Almost every single pup in the pet store except marked rescue dogs for adoption come from puppy mills. No respectable breeder would send their pups to live in a cage to be sold to any idiot with cash.

as for breeding if you must breed your dogs be absolutely sure you have a sound doggie not just a purebreed all a dog need to be "purebreed" is proof both parents are the same breed. this is not proof of health soundness stability or being anywhere near breed standards . random breeding for cash leads to inbreed neurotic chihuahuas that shake constantly and scared dobermans that bite from fear.
and be certain you can house and find good homes for all pups
if not and they are just going to be pets please get them fixed

its a puppy scam! dont fall for it. i own a yorkie. what i can tell you is that a breeder CANNOT guarantee you what size the dog will be. standard yorkies are 5-7 lbs. but i have seen a yorkie (full blooded) that was 18 lbs. it just depends on the dog. also, there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie lol. that is just a sales gimmick. a responsible breeder will not only show you the pup before you buy it, but you can see the parents and the breeder should give you numbers of ppl she/he sold to-you can call them and see how the sale went, and ask about their dogs health (yorkies can develop genetic problems like shunts, and kneecaps that slide out of place when they walk, kidney failure etc).

dont but a puppy without seeing it-EVER. i suggest you get on a forum called yorkietalk.com. im a member there, and they give excellent breeder advice! you can also join it, and find a good breeder in your area! they also slam bad breeders and try to warn everyone about them.

theres a lady on there that did the same thing you were going to do. bought a dog without seeing it, it was shipped same day a long distance. the dog arrived in really bad shape, and they spent thousands on vet bills only to euthanize the puppy because she was only 5 weeks old and not even old enough to be weaned.

its a bad scam-dont fall for it.their plan is that you send them money, they promise to send the dog (NEVER DO!) and you are out the money and cant find them-suddenly their email and phone numbers dont work.. and you are sh#* out of luck, and the court system cant help you.

i hate yorkies that is all

also, i forgot to add never buy a dog from a petstore. i watched Dateline NBC, and they did a special on backyard breeders. they said over 80 percent(!!!!) of all dog stores (like petland-they have been nailed multiple times) buy from backyard puppy mills. i was floored. i will never ever buy a dog or cat from a petstore.. its over priced, and probably comes from a puppy mill-and i dont want to encourage that.

the petland in my town does buy from backyard breeders. a woman i work with-her friend breeds her boxers over and over, and sells to them.

Dateline also proved that just because a dog is AKC certified that doesnt mean crap. they registered a litter of kittens as full bred boxers (to AKC certify, all you do is send money and register with the AKC- THEY NEVER SEE THE DOG) and then they exposed it. so i could register a bag of oreo cookies as pure bred mastiffs

and ppl pay more for AKC dogs-it doesnt guarantee health, or good breeding-or anything lol

mike- did you have a bad experience with a yorkie? lol.. they are such ruthless dogs lol..
seriously, i didnt like them either until i owned one- he was free, and the woman i got him from didnt want him because she was sick of taking him outside to pee. hes the sweetest dog ive ever had. and no, i dont put stupid outfits on him. hes a manly little guy.

Omg. I was looking for puppies to and was looking for a maltese and the guy told me he was in south africa and could send them over for free if i just send him 50 bucks. good thing i didnt buy em

yeah everyone-dont EVER buy an animal from africa and have it shipped-more than likely its a scam- u will never see the pet, also some animals are illegal to transport from there. you could get arrested and prosecuted.

scam...go on snopes.com and you will see many of these scams from africa..
