Need an ID

I would say it is definitely an Aulonocara stuartgranti of some sort. Due to the fact that it came out of a mixed tank, you will likely never be able to nail down exactly which location of the lake its predecessors came from. He's still a good looking fish.

How long is he? I know in some of the pics, the body almost looks too shallow for a peacock, but if he is still fairly young, that could explain it.

ash im looking at my atlas its showing it as a grants peacock or a auloncara stuartgranti or a auloncara korneliae by the color pattons on your pic it looks like a aulonocara korneliae....

Yah he is only like hmm 3ish inches I would say he is a little narrow but hes got a bit of growing up to do. I'll post up some more pics in a few months when he get bigger. I do love his coloration.

Ok thats why I ask, I couldnt find anything under that name when I tried to look it up.
