If you mean Leporacanthicus heyerodon it cant be. Too much black and no "crest" on the head. I think rotory might be right.

I have an angelicus that looks somewhat like that. If that were just its stressed color form than it goes all black with small to medium sized white spots with a crescent moon shaped tail then i would be 100% that it is an angelicus. They come from all over the lower amazon so finding multiple varieties is one of the coolest things about them.

That's what his color looks like constantly it never changes I'm not sure what he is but he's an awesome looking pleco and he looks great in the tank so he's here to stay

Looks more like an L48 to me. My L48 looks similar to what you posted. Nice pickup.
