i think the jardini is the most aggressive Arowana..

Thats what ive heard too.

Too many people just keep jardini and they think it's the most aggressive of all the aros. Been saying this many times already. The aggressive level on aros is NOT within species but by individual aro. Just too many people been reading or heard about jardinis reputation of being aggressive and being wide spread all of the internet. Try mixing together some 20"+ aros of different species and even jars will not go to the top list of aggressiveness. It can varied on who's the dominant aro.

Lots of reports of jardini going psycho and killing of everything in the tank. Haven't heard of such from blacks, silvers or leis. You can't own asians so bring them into the discussion is pointless. So I don't know if a psycho jardini equals aggressive, but it would be something to consider. Many jardini calm down once larger as many have added large jardini to community tanks.

Asian can be psycho as well especially the green and the golds. Even had a 23" black aro that went psycho and it won't stop chasing my 25" silver and 20" jar. Only aro it won't chase is my 21" asian green as it fights back. That's why I keep on saying it's not within species but by individual aros. This is US base site and most report will be from the jars and not many of them keep them in comms that's why so many same stories are being told. There are also not many people who mix jars with asian aros or with other tank mates it's not because of aggressiveness it's because of the show quality if being kept alone to make it look perfect. That's why not many reports of asian aros aggressiveness.

Did the black kill the silver or the jardini? Not what I would call psycho. There is a very long thread here on MFK that has hundreds of posts. Read it, lots and lots of jardini killing everything in the tank, a far cry from your single testimony of your black:screwy:

AS I STATED BEFORE SINCE THE OP IS IN THE STAtES IT IS REALLY POINTLESS TO BRING ASIANS INTO THE CONVERSATION. But since you had to, there are very few stories of even greens going after other fish in the tank. Biggest difference with your claims are, yours involve aros vs. aro, whereas jardini will go after most any fish.

I know you seem to have alot of abnormal stories regarding arowana, but you need to look at everyone experiences as a whole to find out what is most likely. So yes jardini are the most aggressive arowana :p
