Sun Cats get 8" max though I think and I had 2 of them, they are slow growers and can be very reclusive, however, as far as peacefullness...I would not rate them as that peacefull when they get established in some area of the tank. My 8" one would kick the crap out of the royal pleco and I saw it attack my TSN the other night and that was the final straw so after a 30minute chase he got the boot.
Depends how big the giraffe is when bought. They grow to 2 - 3 foot, and the tanks only 2 foot wide so it wouldn't have much space. I think the Sun Cats a good idea.

At the top of the page in the banner that says photo of the month, is that a real catfish or pleco?
Either way you look at it, that is a real catfish. Now if you are asking is it a smooth skinned catfish or an armor plated catfish, then the answer is it is smooth skinned. From the genus of bagarius i do believe!
