Need confirmation on Paratheraps Zonatus

Bought this Zonatus from Fishfarmusa several months ago and was wondering if this is a Paratheraps Zonatus. It looks a lot like a Vieja Zonatus to me. Thanks for any input.

All the members of Vieja were put into paratheraps. So yes they are the same fish.

As for the fish in that picture...I am not certain if it is a Zonatum or not. I have kept many Zonatum before and all had an overall blue tone. There is a lot of variation in the paratheraps group though.

Well since you bought it from a very reputable breeder like Ken, I am sure it is what he said it is. Nice fish.

Maybe it's just the picture, but I thought Zonatums had more of a blue coloration.

that's not a Zonatum. That's a Hartwegi
