I like the lima idea but my first thought was on the marble. The longibarbus sounds like a good cat for what your looking to do. And then after the marble or group of limas is in the 400 then you can get some gulpers to go into the 135. Whats the other stock plan on the 400? It might help rule out some of the cats.

get the biggest of them all, the fila. Don't bother with the littler catfish. Or get a yarrelli, they are nice too

it would help to know what else will be in the 400 gallon when you move it

3 or 4 lima in a 400g now that would be cool.

Fila RTC TSN and RTCxTSN hybrid will out grow your 400 and they bagarius will to dependsing on species

go for the marble
