If you want to use it as a growout tank, and you can find/make a reliable lid, I would take it! The footprint would be awesome, and with a footprint like that and a wet/dry, you could probably stash quite a few little rays in there.

That said, I would provide a deeper tank for the larger rays. It seems that 24" is a minimum, although I'm unsure how this applies (if at all) to some of the really large rays.

haha. Yep gotta love paradise. I keep some tanks outside on the lanai too. I used to have some really nice planted ones outside. Now its just aquaculture projects.
