I love my FX5, but have heard the smaller fluvals have some problems.
I don't think two ac 110 would be over doing it... run one set up for mech filtration like double sponge and filter floss and one with a single sponge and double bio... best of both worlds.
Canister would be cool too. 40 breeders are nice tanks. Did you get it on sale? The big chain stores have been practically giving those away lately I've noticed...
If you dont put the lid on right it can leak, and the little suction cup primer thing is kind of a pain, other then that mine was ok... was at least 5-8yr ago that I had one an it was for 3 massize turtles. Not fish, so my account of it might be alittle off.
My buddy has been using odyssea 50 for a long time and i have been using
one of his odyssea 50 hang on filter. I've seen the 110 and compared em.
kinda works the same and looks the same. just thinking bout the cheaper way to go.
