Need Filter help on my 55

[Deaths Sting]

I have a flagtail, endlchari, brycon, spotted p bass wolf fish, african pike and a couple silver dollars.
I do 50% water once a week
also I have no substrate
so should I scratch the sump idea?

i know for sure that the flag tail, endi and Pbass will out grow ur tank. depending on the size of the fish, ur tank would be considered over stocked in my eyes.

sumps are excellent but i would just go with the AC 110 or 2 for ur situation. maybe u can make a sump when its time to upgrade to a bigger tank

also what media should I get for my new ac110?

it comes with media, but, i would scrap the carbon and either go with some extra bio or filter floss.

Thanks guys, Im just about to but my new ac110 but wanted to ask one more thing Is there any other way besides a over the back filter only BC my tank is right at the wall and I have no space to move it so to put one in my tank it will have to be in the front and that looks well not so great. but if that really whats best im more than willing to do it.
