need fish pike species ID

so according to the site, its called an emerald pike. However, the internet gives no information on it at all. It has a spectacular color and the head shape is unique.

i can tell you now jonah didnt color that fish. there is a story behind it....good blue pike as well. its just a pigment thing
 
i have caught one like that up here...it died though...it was around 10" and a muskie grabbed it at the boat...

Jonahs has a good reputation, and have been in the native fish selling business for years; fortunately they dont stoop so low as to color/dye theyre fish, they do however breed fish with the best colors so that the next batch is prettier than the first.
 
I know the man who runs Jonahs, I've done business with him on many occasions, he would not dye or sell dyed fish. I've never seen a fish like this either but if Jonah says it's natural then it is.
 
how come he doesn't have fish up lately? Is he just out of cycle or is he getting out of the trade?
 
The website does list the species as Esox americanus, which is the grass or redfin pickerel (redfin is var americanus and grass is var vermiculatus).
