but i do agree Shift is a really good game, but i do enjoy playing gt, but forza seems like the winner.

I havent played Forza b/c I dont like the xbox, never have. So I cant say anything about that. But I have played several NFS games and theyve always annoyed me. They target a completely different audience. If you like little imports with wings and ground effects, play NFS. If you like amazing works of automotive technology, play GT (or Forza?).

I own both GT4 and Forza Motorsports 2, and I would say Forza is a much more complete game offering tons of more features and replay value.

Base cars for first level: A couple audi's, bimmer 1series?(the new new ones), s14, s13, civic, s2000, rx8, golf, miata, cobalt, focus, cosworth, scirroco(new one), and the best ole' school skyline 2000 gt (/sick). I might have forgot a car or two in there as well.

A friend of mine got it and since he doesn't have cable leaving him two channels to watch at 6:00pm he played it a little. It's a good game. It does come with it's "WTF why'd they do that.. " parts like a racing exhaust for a skyline sets you back 12k but all games do. That said though if you're into racing games that much to compare their qualitys/drawbacks then you should probably just build the real thing and quit racing with a controller.
