Need help asap with inline heater

Just got a Hydor eth 300wat heater and i noticed the hose to my fx5 is to big. Can anyone give me some tips. Thanks for any infos

sorry, the fx5 hose is just too big. the Hydor 300watt inline heaters connecters are 5/8. the fluval 404/405 work great though. i put mine on a 405.

no..not really.. i suppose u could modify the the hose diameter... i wouldn't though...eek

i have the same heater .. i run it on my Eheim 2028 pro 2. it works magnificently on my 120 gal.


there... now u have great accuse to buy a new filter yay!!!

You can, but you have to put a "Y" connector on the return line and put on reducer on the side you connect to the hydor.
