no way..... they can totally feel it and sufficate.. i bet that sucks ass... i would of chopped its head off... quick and painless... it would be harder to sufficate it to death

i guess I'm a chicken when it comes to that :(

THat's why i said on the top what was the best way of doing it without having to hit it over the head or chop its head off.

dont you have a fish that could swallow it? thatd be the best before frozen

oh meat sticking out, that's not what happend to mine. mine was close to the meat. well it could heal can it? have you seen that thread where they chop off the tail of the fish to give it a special look? maybe the severum will heal like that. no?

that's messed up B you didn't even get it a chance to heal

oh man, i feel so bad now. :( :(

I went check on the guy in the freezer and he was in there for a good 10 minutes and still breathing. :(

so i took him out and hit him with a hammer type thing. :( and i'm not sure i got him on the first shot :(

i'm gonna go now, hope i never have to do that again :(

i agree that you should have seperated it to give it a chance to heal first. But, what works really well with smaller fish is to put them in a small container with a few alka seltzer tabs. As they dissolve the give off carbon dioxide, which puts the fish to sleep. However, I personally favor an overdose of MS 222, as that is THE MOST humane way. Clove oil is available at the store, so you can O.D. on that then freeze it to be sure.

damn that sux, i'd never be able to do something like that's unless it's a roach, spider, fly or ant. you are one brave dude. welp time to go to the fishstore and buy another one.
