Need help asap

Shouldn't the house temp be warmer, it is summertime. Thanks, I can now see the frame around the top for the screen. I guess my eyes are not good enough to see the screen itself...I'll try looking closer.
nah cause my parents keep the Ac on and the house is 71 and my basement gets colder im gonna leave the light on its only for a week until I get my 180 next week and can move him into the 65 gallon

Heat a tank with no way of removing heat if it gets to dangerous levels?
Nope. You're better off leaving the tank at room temp, or rather, your fish would be better off.
A week of sub optimal temps will cause no problems. An hour of too high a temp can kill the fish.

The heat lamp isnt a strong one keeps the tank at around 75-76 degrees I have a thermometer on it to check if it is heating too high

You should have a tank prepared for the fish before you bring him in. Heat lamps are not an effective way of managing tank temperature if thats what youre asking. The constant high intensity light will also stress your flowerhorn. 71 is low and 10 gal is small but tolerable for 1 week i suppose. Just dont expect your fish to do well in this setup for any prolonged period.

If you intend to keep this fish, you should set up a tank at least 75 gallons dedicated solely to this fish. He will not cohabitate well with other fish once he matures.
I know how to take care of him have a 65 gallon for him just waiting to get my 180 to move my 2 oscars out of the 65

If you know how to take care of him, then buy a heater, even a used one if need be. And if you don't want to follow sound advice, then why bother asking? FH like most designer fish are overall genetic weaklings, and any form of stress, especially in a young FH such as this can weaken their immune system, which can lead to further health issues. Running a heat lamp over it's tank 24/7 is a bad idea for the various reasons already stated. I expect your next thread to be HELP ASAP - My new Flowerhorn is Sick!
