yah im growing out 4 oscars and silver dollars for a 180-250 the arowana just gave more room for them

An API freshwater master test kit would be a wise investment. Regardless of what I think the water quality is, the first thing I check when a fish is having issues is the water parameters. If nothing else you can eliminate water quality as a possible cause and look for other explanations.
