thanks mr reef just to correct myself I actually have a RO unit not a UV sterilizer but i was just wondering my unit is made by coralife, it needs a new membrane how much do they cost and is there any website i can order it from??

I have had a flood several times over the years it sucks but can and does happen one way to avoid it is make sure that if you turn off your return pump that the water that will flow back down the overflow isn't more then the tank can handle you can make marks on the wet/dry sump like max water level and minimum so you can do your best to keep from having a flood
