Need help deciding on a fish!!!

is this a 40 breeder or 40 regular?? a full grown JD in a 40 regular would be pushing it IMO....

my mistake.. i forgot that a 40 was a four foot tank.... i think JD or GT would probably be ok in the 40 regular or breeder... but would probably need to be alone...

i live in south texas. there is also another type of fish that i catch. it looks like a cichlid and has some shades of purple and have even caught some with red teeth looking projections on the lips.

peacock bass for sure mine is mean and cracked my 5 gal got him a new 10 gal
