Need Help Deciding on what fish to get

Just set up my 55 gallon tank again and Im looking to get a South American Cichlid again. I used to have an Oscar. I would like to get something that grows nearly as large and is quite aggressive. Im looking at Jack Dempseys, Green Terrors and of course Oscars again. Im going to get one of them in my tank but Im not sure how they all are. Lately I've been leaning towards JD's.

In your 55 you'd be able to do one Dempsey maybe could possibly do 2 gt in there but n oscar alone in a 75g is bare min

I like Africans better, but if limited to OP's list...I have to agree with the EBJD. They look great and are not so aggressive you can't have other fish with them
