even declawed it can defend its self. ask my 10 yo cat that is declawed and fought off a fox. when they can run, or they can be load they will be fine
My old declawed cat was still a hunter, and turned mean and scary as heck when I had to get rid of him (to a house with kittens, that didn't work, then got sent to a house with goats, my cat was killed by a goat). Had the back claws still, and used them with force whenever he jumped off a lap. What really sucked about the declawing is after it was done he was in casts for weeks, and it was months untill he was not moving gingerly. Major surgery.
Also, we need kitten pictures.

Hey everybody,

I have a 3 month old kitten living with my family. I need help with certain problems she has that is very unappealing to my parents especially my dad.

-Any way to train her how to stop jumping on the furniture?
-Any way to train her how to stop jumping into the flower pots?
-Any safe or alternative way to remove the claws....declawing techniques (at a vet of coarse)?
(Don't like the idea, but no choice)

Thats about it also she has a habbit of jumping on people's legs and I can tell my mom doesn't like it. I know as they get older they become more independent and stay away from social activities. Also she's doing really good with the litter box.

put tinfoil where you dont want them.
try spraying cat barrier sprays.
say no or clap loud every time it does it. Train it..

De clawing is cruel. Your a douche if you do it.
Buy scratching posts for them to have somewhere to groom their claws.

The crawling up leg thing is a kitten trait. it'll grow out of it.

camshaft beat me to it, aluminum/tin foil on couches, it frightens the cat when it jumps onto it.

i'd also say no to declawing but if it has to be declawed, i'd say only declaw the front paws (contrary to what has been previously stated) it'll allow the cat more traction

....that should be my middle name douche lol. In highschool my dean calls me a douche...I reply "love you too"

I will be putting tinfoil on the furniture and plants and see how it works. Also for pics of the cat I'm currently not home, however they grey cat on frontline medicines looks just like her.
