when he reaches a certain length [?], you may want to handle only when there are 1-2 other people around. you dont want to end up in the evening news.
best thing i hear to do if you get nailed and wrapped is to completely relax your muscles, hopefully hey'll let go. i bet that's tough to do when you're fearing for your life.

What I have read is once they get older and you are handling them 1)have at least one other person that is herp knowledgable 2) Have a bottle of rubbing alcohol or listerine near by and if he bites you pour it in his mouth it will sting you l but usually gets them to let go too. And pics???
Regular drinking alcohol will work too, like vodka, whiskey, whatever. Also I'm told bending the tail back can get them to let go but I've never seen that done or tried to/needed to do it.
