Right now the stocking of the tank has yet to be decided. What will immediately go into though are two arowanas, 3 large tinfoil barbs and 1 large bala shark.

Well I was able to get ahold of the tank manufacturer, dutch aquarium systems. Very nice gentlemen to chat with and very knowledgeable about the tank. He is confident that those filters are enough to sustain the tank. They have four black foam spools that are extremely efficient at filtration. Apparently he only recommends a pump running about 600-700 gph with it.
While he seems trustworthy I think I am still going to hook up one or maybe two FX5's to the tank.

600-700 gph is not enought to keep that tank clean. You will need more like 2500-3000gph

Thats what I was thinking also but he was pretty adamant that the filter was adequate. I was going to shoot for around 3600 gph, 10X turnover an hour.
