Need help IDing a Cichlid

its not my tank, its a friends. I just had them send me another picture of the tank, and I noticed something interesting. There is one single Electric Yellow in it. So perhaps they are all female Metriaclima greshakei and one male Electric Yellow. I think these might crossbeed, but would it take that long for them to breed? Theyve had them a few years now, and they just finally had babies.

Mbuna can breed cross bred. it could also be that their are males and the yellow lab keeps them stressed. Also Metriaclima greshakei get larger than what the ones in the picture look like. If it is a small tank and they are stressed it is unlikely that they would breed often.

Its a 55gallon tank, and doesnt have alot of hiding spaces, so it makes sense that they are stressed out a bit. It looks most likely that they are females with the one male Yellow. I can't see any colour in the others, and they tell me there are no colours on them nor any anal spots either. I think youve figured it out for me. The fry are only about an inch long right now, but Im curious how they may be coloured when they get bigger. I know crossbreeding is kind of frowned upon, but Im almost curious enough to take a couple off them just to find out what the colouring would be after a year or so.
