Need help IDing an Eel

Saved these guys from the certain crappy death that is the wal mart aquarium of doom. There was no listing for what kind of eel they are. Need some help with what they eat and anything maybe particular to this species, thanks! I cant upload any pics, somethings up with the USB hub. The main feature ive seen on them is the 4 to 5 large black spots on their upper rear fin. Ill try to get a picture up

Pics would help, but I remember seeing Walmart selling Peacock Eels a while back, and from the spots on the fin, that might be what it is.

is the Mastacembelus siamensis the same as Macrognathus aculeatus?

Related but not the same, the aculeatus is a bit bigger and not commonly imported. Peacocks, on the other hand are often sold at walmart.
